I would like to note that I have given details of this case about 21 years ago in Jerusalem to the State Committee in an orderly manner.
My parents – the late Salem and Luliya (Loulwah) immigrated to Israel from Yemen in 1951. The names of the brothers and sisters in order of from the older to the youngest are: Shalom, Naama (Naomi), Mordechai, Yona, Avner and Avraham. Mordecai was born in between Naama and Yona.
According to the testimony of the Hafzi family (Hafdi) of the local authority and the testimony of the Lulu family of the local authority – my mother Luliya (LoLoh) who lived in the Masmiya transit camp went to the hospital (the hospital was probably Sarafand (Zrifin) or Kaplan) when she was pregnant in order to give birth, but left the hospital without a child. My parents always spoke of Mordecai at home. My parents had some children who died, and there for the matter of Mordechai was so very painful. When my mother was pregnant with Yona she was afraid to go to the hospital for fear of them kidnapping my sister Yona. The previous name of my sister Yona was Leah.
When my sister Yona got sick, my mother was afraid to take Yona to the hospital, fearing she will be kidnapped. Over the years, we received a letter from the IDF recruitment office for Mordecai.
In my father’s first ID card, Mordechai's details appeared including first name and ID number. When my father’s ID card outdated and faded he went to the Interior Ministry in Rehovot and in its place he got an ID card without Mordecai’s details.
According to the testimony of my sister Naama (Naomi), she went to change her identity card at the Interior Ministry in Rehovot, and in the Interior Ministry paperwork were details about Mordechai. My sister Naama (Naomi) went to update her age on her identity card at the Interior Ministry in Rehovot, but the details about Mordecai disappeared.
