Yaakov Hassan, son of Musa (Moses) Haim Hassan and Malka Hassan, was born in 1953. In May he was taken to Hadassah Hospital in Beersheba, at the age of two months. After three weeks a notice of his death was sent to the moshav’s secretary.

On the phone, his father was told: “He is buried there, and was graced by a burial in the holy city.”

A draft notice arrived from the IDF, and the military police came to take Yaakov for not enlisting. He ever received a summons to vote in the elections for the Knesset. We recently discovered that the name "Yaakov" appears in the Ministry of the Interior under his younger brother Hagai’s ID number.
