Moshe and Naomi Amsalem

My name is Haim ben Shlomi from Tiberias. A disabled veteran, named after my brother, and I want to testify about my brother, Haim.

In ‘49, my parents Moshe and Naomi Amsalem immigrated from Yemen, and they were sent to Camp A in Rosh HaAyin during the winter. Haim was 3 years old, and they convinced them to place him in a children’s home that had windows. The child recognized her and began to sob while looking through the window, and she began crying outside, but they did not allow her to enter and hold him, so she sobbed outside for three days while he cried indoors.

On the fourth day, she arrived at the clinic, did not see the boy, and cried, where's the child? They told her that he had passed away. All her life, she wept. she wept for him.
