Ziva Lahis (Kostizky) graduated from nursing school in September 1949, and was sent to work with the founding team of the hospital in Rosh Ha’ain camp. She arrived at the camp in November 1949. She testified before the committee on December 19th, 1996.

Lahis testifies that the babies suffered from acute medical conditions, and that as young nurses, she and her colleagues found it a hard thing to witness. She testifies that they did not know how to correctly spell the names of the children, and that this might have caused identification problems. She does not remember how administration was handled in the hospital.

The testimony protocol is attached.
