Tziona Shmuel

My parents arrived at the Rosh HaAyin transit camp from Yemen in 1949. My sister Tziona was 6 months old and my mother would nurse her. My mother received a sudden notice that the baby was ill and that she needed to be taken for treatment, and never saw her again. Many years later we received a conscription order from the military in my missing sister’s name.

I’m a religious man, ultra-orthodox with a big faith. I wouldn’t want the criminals who committed these kidnappings to face trial here but at the heavenly court. I believe with all my heart that whoever was complicit in this thing will get their sentencing from our god above.
